8th Grade Promotion Ceremony
The ILMS 8th grade promotion ceremony will be at Indian Land High School, this evening, Wednesday, May 28th at 6:30pm. (Dress code is dressy casual.)
Please drop your child off at 5:15pm in the front of Indian Land High School through the car rider line. Parents may then head over to the stadium to be seated.
In order to accommodate all families for the ceremony, we ask that you please limit your party to 8 people. Just a reminder, LCSD has a clear bag policy as well as the use of metal detectors. In order to make the line run smoothly, please double check to make sure you leave all metal objects at home and all belongings in a clear bag. We appreciate your patience.
If you are unable to attend the ceremony, the 8th grade certificates will be available for pick up in the main office beginning June 2nd – 13th Monday through Thursday 8am-4pm.
Parking
You may park in the ILHS parking lot.
Schools and offices will be closed Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day.
Save the Date - The 2nd annual Parent Pep Rally will be held on August 1, 2025 at Lancaster Memorial Stadium from 7:00- 9:00 pm. Lancaster County School District and Lancaster Promise Neighborhood invite all parents to join in the fun! Mark your calendar now.

Congratulations to Indian Land High School and Indian Land Middle School for receiving the Outstanding Performance Award! The Outstanding Performance Award is the highest award the South Carolina Band Directors Association can give a school. The award is in recognition of excellence throughout the school year. To earn the award, a school must earn 90 out of a possible 100 points at the high school level and 45 out of a possible 50 at the middle school level.
