On March 26th and 27th, our 7th/8th grade Concert Band and 8th grade honors Symphonic Band participated in the SC Concert Band Performance Assessment. Our bands performed 3 concert pieces on stage and then sight read a brand new piece for another grade with only 6 minutes of study time.
Concert Band earned the rating of Excellent. They were one point away from Superior but have grown so much over the year, which is evident from this rating!
Symphonic Band earned the rating of Superior with Distinction (the highest rating our state gives to bands)! They earned top marks from each judge and were only 2 points away from a perfect score!
We are super proud of our Warrior Band students!
