Here are a few important reminders about the first-ever ILISPTO Light Up The Night Glow Dance:
🔵Required Google Form & Payment:
--If you paid but haven’t filled out the form, please do so ASAP—it takes less than a minute and can be found HERE: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfJuPfBwQq2-a5UqvWcpJ7CSWd_3-mwunSvQZMjgCjgTu7QnQ/viewform
--If you filled out the form but haven’t paid, tomorrow is the last day to send in $7.
🟡Still Want to Attend?
--There’s still time! Tomorrow is the final day to submit payment (again, be sure to fill out that form!)
--$7 covers entry, a snack, water, and access to photo booths. Students will receive photos from the photo booth by sending them to a cell phone number. Please make sure your student knows their number or your number by heart to receive the photos.
🔵Dance Times & Drop-Off/Pick-Up:
--5th Grade: 4:30–6:00 PM
--6th Grade: 6:30–8:00 PM
--Drop-off: In front of the gym.
--Pick-up: Traditional car rider line.
🟡Car rider tags make pick-up faster!
-No tag? We’ll need to check ID/Powerschool, which may delay the process. Need a tag? Email your homeroom teacher today so one can be sent home tomorrow.
🔵Important Policies:
--Clear bag policy is in effect for all students.
--Students will enter through a metal detector.
--This is a DROP OFF EVENT. Only parents previously approved can stay as volunteers.

--Chicken Biscuit Sale – 7:15am until we sell out, $5 each (cash only) in the car rider line.
--Last day of Cash Cow Coin Wars! Top class gets a pizza party, if we hit our goal of $2500 students get Pajama and Hat day on Monday 3/10!

Wow- what a HUGE jump yesterday!!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! As you head into school, if you find any coins in the car, tucked into the couch cushions, a bill crumpled in the bottom of your jacket packet, bring it on in! It looks like 6th grade is pretty far behind 5th grade. Can 6th grade catch up and take the pizza party win!? We all hope to reach our goal for our Pajama AND Hat day! (That's an update- we heard the kids and they want hats, too!)

We’re still feeling the excitement from Thursday’s celebrations! Our staff enjoyed delicious cookies from Sugary Smiles Cookies (check her out on Facebook!), and we kept the energy going during our Professional Development Day on Monday.
We kicked off the day with a Blind Date Breakfast, where staff members sat with colleagues from different teams—including 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B, SPED, Encores, and Support Staff. With 127 staff members, it’s easy to stick with familiar faces, so this was a great way to mix things up and build connections across the building.
After breakfast, Ms. Gorrell and Ms. Morrison led an engaging and productive workshop to keep us growing and improving.
We’re recharged and ready for the week ahead! Enjoy the rest of your day, and we’ll see your students bright and early tomorrow!

These students, and many others, show so much dedication in and outside of the band room everyday. We are grateful to have such talented and committed leaders in this band program. Congratulations!"
